Julie Regh, 2011
1 box of fettucini
2 T. butter
1/2 cup all purpose flour
3 cups milk
1 1/2 cups dry white wine
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1 T. pepper
1/4 t. red pepper flakes (ixnay the red pepper flakes if you don't like spicy. If you like spicy, throw in more!)
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. garlic salt
2 cups Parmesan cheese, separated
cooked turkey (leftovers from Thanksgiving, or out of a can. Chicken works well, too.)
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup diced tomato
Pam spray
Preheat oven to 350°. Boil pasta for ten minutes or more.
Melt butter in a skillet over low-medium heat; whisk in flour, milk and wine until smooth. Whisk constantly for about 10 minutes, or until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Whisk in bouillon granules, seasoned pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, garlic salt, and 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese.
Remove from heat; stir in diced cooked chicken, sliced mushrooms, and hot cooked pasta.
Pour into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
