Caramel Corn

2 cups brown sugar
2 cubes (1/2 lb.) margarine
½ cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup un-popped corn
Boil sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes, stirring so it won’t stick. Add soda and vanilla to syrup. Pour over un-popped corn. Mix well. Place on two jelly roll pans or rosters or cookie sheets and place in oven at 225° for one hour. Stir occasionally.

Mr. T was the vice principal of Joan, Patsy and Lynn's high school who lived with Don Munro's parents.
